Platform provider re-builds its retail business development team after loss of three staff.

Skandia has hired two business development managers following the departure of three people from its team in Victoria.

In April, it was announced that business development managers Justin Murhy, Tanya Hoshek and Shane O'Connor left Skandia to take up jobs with other financial services companies.

Adam Kingston has been hired as a senior development manager and Samantha Amos as a business development manager.

Kingston will be responsible for managing financial planners in Melbourne and Tasmania. His previous job was with AMP as a business development manager. In the job he was responsible for increasing product inflows for the company's retail platforms.

Amos will manage relationships with Melbourne's financial planners. Amos previously worked with MLC. She has also worked in a financial planning business.

Kingston and Amos will report to Skandia's state manager for Victoria and Tasmania, Jon Remmington.

"Adam and Samantha are both outstanding professionals with extensive experience assisting financial advisers in growing their businesses and managing client relationships," Skandia head of retail distribution Martin Morris said.
