The result of a business reshuffle sees Industry Fund Services (IFS) add more staff to its insurance broking business.

IFS Insurance Broking has revamped its group risk practice and established the three new areas of client service, consulting and strategy.

"This new approach better aligns our organisational structure, leadership team and service teams with our client's insurance needs and value proposition to members," IFS Insurance Broking managing director Robert Nunez said.

As a result of the changes, existing employees have been appointed to a new executive team.

Shane Fielding will take up the head of client services and operations position, Mario DeBono will lead the consulting and technical services business and Nick Galanakis will head the strategy and client development group.

Three new staff members were hired following the business restructure. The firm has hired Sonya Fuller as an account manager and Lisa Cayzer and Jill September as consultants.

There are now 22 insurance specialists at IFS Insurance Broking.

IFS Insurance Broking provides insurance broking and consulting services to the industry superannuation network. The network is owned by more than 35 industry superannuation funds.
