Intech is reviewing its share portfolios on the back of ongoing market events.

Multi-manager Intech is examining its active Australian and international multi-manager portfolios as part of an annual review.

"With the significant market events that have been occurring we feel it is useful to review our portfolios," Intech general manager of investments Daniel Needham said.

The review will examine Intech's International Shares High Opportunities Trust, Australian Shares High Alpha Trust, International Shares (unhedged) Trust and Australian Shares Active Trust.

"We will be examining how markets have affected our international managers," Needham said.

The firm expects the review to take another two to three months to complete. Any changes will be further examined by the Intech investment committee.

Last week, Intech announced it would manage the investments on Suncorp's new WealthSmart platform.

The firm will manage the core, diversified multi-manager options on the platform.
