Professional Investment Services member firm Blue Chip Wealth Management has hired Izabella Hyde to the role of practice manager and Onar Serrano to the position of business development officer.

Hyde joins the Sydney-based firm following time as a practice manager with a medium-sized financial planning firm.

She also worked for ANZ in a number of areas, including investments, personal superannuation, and annuities and pensions, as well as for Aviva/Navigator as a business support officer for corporate superannuation.

"I am looking forward to bringing my experience and knowledge to Blue Chip Wealth Management and helping them grow and prosper in the years ahead," she said.

Blue Chip Wealth Management has also promoted one of its office graduates, Onar Serrano, to a business development officer, following the successful appointment of another graduate, Ren Theivendrarajah, in May this year.

The financial advice firm introduced its undergraduate program early in 2009 in order to give financial planning students the opportunity to participate in an internship while they completed their university studies.
