Former St George Bank margin lending head Andrew Black has become financial services company Skandia's second retail general manager.

Black, who replaced Mark Papendieck in the job, left St George Bank in December. Skandia saw a number of high-profile appointments and departures in 2007, including Papendieck, who left after just over a year in the job last month.
