ING Investment Management has continued its hiring streak with the addition of a smaller companies analyst.

ING Investment Management (INGIM) has continued the expansion of its research team with the appointment of Phillip Hudak as small-cap equity analyst.

Hudak comes from MIR Investment Management, where he spent three years as an analyst in the Australian equities research team.

He will support Joel Flemming, who was recently promoted to INGIM small companies portfolio manager.

Flemming's promotion came after former head of smaller companies Sinclair Currie left the firm to co-head a new Challenger Financial Services boutique fund manager.

The appointment of Hudak follows the recent announcement of several new hires in INGIM's property and credit teams.

INGIM is still in the process of hiring a new analyst to join its listed property team.
