AMP Capital Investors has awarded a $25 million mandate to agricultural investment manager Australian Farms Fund Management.
The mandate was given to the Melbourne-based manager's Sustainable Agriculture Investments funds and was made as part of the Future Directions multi-manager fund range.
Australian Farms Fund Management is well known to AMP Capital, as AMP Capital head of alternatives Suzanne Tavill sits on the advisory committee of the fund.
Other investors in the $145 million fund include the University of Melbourne Foundation, former Australian rules footballer Mike Fitzpatrick, Auscoal Superannuation Fund, Australian Super, Australian Catholic Superannuation and Retirement Fund, and Christian Super.
