Ipac appoints new head of sales and four general managers.

Ipac has appointed former AFG Financial Planning dealer principal Ross Nayler as its new national head of sales.

The responsibilities for the newly created role were previously shared between state general managers.

Nayler will be responsible for advice, platform and product sales across ipac's adviser network and will report to Ipac financial planning general manager Libby Roy.

He also worked as MLC head of retail strategy and Flexiplan chief executive.

Ipac has also appointed four new general managers for New South Wales (NSW), Victoria, Queensland and Newcastle.

Spiros Christoforatos has been appointed NSW general manager. He has been driving the company's equity partner program in the state and leads the ipac businesses in the Sydney CBD and Chatswood.

He will focus on retaining existing clients and embedding best practices across the network.

Michael Gilmore has been appointed as Victoria general manager and will be responsible for the equity partners program in Victoria, while leading the ipac business in Melbourne.

Gilmore has been heading up the Melbourne business for five years.

Nick Brinkworth was named Queensland general manager. He is general manager of Strategic Planning Partners, a fully-owned ipac equity partner. Brinkworth will now also drive the success of ipac equity partners in Queensland and the ipac business in Brisbane.

Tony Bottaro has been appointed Newcastle general manager. He joined ipac in 1999 and built his own financial advisory business over five years prior to joining the company.
