Access Capital hires Don Conway as infrastructure managing director.

Access Capital Advisers has appointed Don Conway as its infrastructure managing director.

Conway will join the firm's Sydney office and comes from CP2 (previously known as Capital Partners), where he was global head of direct investments.

"Don brings a wealth of investment and direct transaction experience to the firm, particularly in infrastructure and private equity," Access chief executive Alexander Austin said.

"Don brings a unique perspective to the investment analysis process having invested as both a principal and as a fund manager," Austin said.

 
 

At CP2, Conway was involved in a number of large infrastructure investment projects, including Transurban, ConnectEast and Airport Rail Link.

Conway also worked as an executive director for private equity firm Allco Equity Partners, which has been renamed Oceania Capital Partners.

He will also join the firm's investment committee.
