T Rowe Price hires consultant relations manager

T Rowe Price has added a consultant role to its Sydney team.

United States-headquartered asset manager T Rowe Price has expanded its team in Sydney with the appointment of Jack Kewalram as client and consultant relations manager for Australia and New Zealand.

Kewalram will assume responsibility for managing relationships with local research houses, select asset consultants and clients across  institutional and third-party distribution sectors.

He joins from Schroder Investments, where he was a research and consultant relations manager.

"T Rowe Price continues to invest in capabilities and personnel to better serve the Australian and New Zealand markets," T Rowe Price International investment services director for Australia and New Zealand Murray Brewer said.

 
 

"As our business continues to grow, Jack's consulting experience and wide range of contacts will further boost our relationships in these markets."

The company also appointed Vista Chan as client operations manager for Asia, excluding Japan, to support institutional clients.

Chan will be responsible for new client acquisition and partnering with client relationship managers to serve the ongoing investment operational needs of the company's clients.
