BTFG confirms further appointments under new business structure.

BT Financial Group (BTFG) has made a series of changes to its advice and superannuation business roles.

BTFG has appointed Chris Freeman as general manager adviser distribution in the superannuation and investment division.

"The focus for this business will be working with our external dealer groups, aligned and independent financial advisers," a spokesperson for BT said.

"Chris Freeman, who is well-known in the industry and has held several roles during his 22 years, will also lead these customers through the changes brought about by the Future of Financial Advice."

BTFG head of superannuation Melanie Evans will now lead the superannuation and platforms team, bringing together the company's current superannuation, Asgard, BT Wrap and product teams.

BTFG also made changes to its business transformation division, appointing Naz Cankurt program director, Craig Lawrenson head of product development, Trudy Ellwood head of customer experience and segment design, Dayne Smithett head of service transformation and Mark Franklin as acting head of technology.

The appointments follow the announcement of a new BTFG structure on 3 August.

The group said then it had created a new business transformation division led by general manager John Shuttleworth and a new Bank distribution and insurance division headed by general manager Mark Smith.

General Manager David Lees was then appointed as head of the superannuation and investment business.
