Qantas Superannuation Fund has appointed former JP Morgan TSS chief executive as its new chief.

The $6 billion Qantas Superannuation fund has announced the appointment of Jane Perry as chief executive.

Perry will start with the fund from 1 February 2012.

Perry was previously the chief executive of JP Morgan Treasury and Securities Services Australia and New Zealand.

Before that she spent 10 years with Axa Asia Pacific in a variety of senior roles.

"I am delighted to welcome Jane to Qantas Super. She is an outstanding senior executive with considerable achievements in operations, administration, strategic leadership, HR and customer service across a range of financial services organisations," Qantas Super chairman Anne Ward said.

"Jane brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the plan and I look forward to the positive contribution she will make," she said.

Qantas previous chief executive Janet Torney resigned in September after four years in the role.

Qantas Super was assisted in its recruitment process by Korn Ferry.
