SunSuper has hired former EISS investment specialist Chris Drew.

Industry fund SunSuper has appointed Chris Drew as portfolio analyst to its Sydney-based investment team.

Drew joins from Energy Industries Superannuation Scheme (EISS), where he was a senior investment specialist.

He also worked as a senior investment analyst for EISS subsidiary FuturePlus Financial Services, which he joined in 2006.

But he transferred to EISS, after FuturePlus was restructured to become a third-party administrator.

FuturePlus recently announced the appointment of Trevor Howell as a director.

Howell is best known for his work at Perpetual, where he spent 12 years in various roles, including group executive for strategy and group executive for fund services.

He is also the chairman of management consulting firm Morse Consulting.
