Jonathan Koh rejoins former BlackRock colleague

Boutique equity manager Greencape Capital has recruited equity analyst Jonathan Koh to head up its Australian stock analysis and selection operations.

As a former vice president and analyst in BlackRock's fundamental Asian equity team - where he specialised in stock picking across Australian resources, energy, transport and infrastructure for the world's largest asset manager - Koh rejoins his former BlackRock colleague Matthew Ryland, who co-founded Greencape in 2006.

"Having previously worked with Jonathan at BlackRock we have great respect for his abilities and believe he will make a strong contribution to managing Greencape's portfolio," Mr Ryland said.

Before joining BlackRock, Koh did a stint in PwC's corporate finance and recovery division, working across business recovery, forensic accounting and transaction services.
