Stalwart of the BT business departs after 16 years.

Sixteen year BT Financial Group (BT) veteran Jason Yetton has left the helm of the group's Super and Wrap Solutions business.

BT general manager of finance and risk David Lees has been promoted to acting head of the division following Yetton's resignation.

Lees will replace Yetton permanently from mid-February, reporting to BT chief executive Rob Coombe.

"Our staff and customers have been the beneficiary of Jason's commitment and tenacity over the years and we are grateful for his significant contribution," Coombe said.

"David Lees is well positioned to take the helm of this very important business, which he successfully managed during 2007 while Jason enjoyed an extended leave."

Lees joined BT in October 2005 as chief financial officer, responsible for providing strategic financial direction for the group.

He has been with the Westpac Group since 1997, when he joined The Mortgage Company, working on third-party distribution.
