Clive Skarott has become an employer-representative director on the Energy Super board.
In addition, Richard Flanagan has been named in the same role. Mr Skarott and Mr Flanagan will replace outgoing directors Geoff Baldwin and Gary Humphrys.
According to Energy Super, both Mr Skarott and Mr Flanagan will sit on the fund’s audit, compliance and risk committee.
Energy Super chairman Mark Williamson said the new directors' experience will complement other members currently on the board. He also thanked Mr Baldwin and Mr Humphrys for their contribution to the fund.
Mr Skarott previously served as the chief executive and company secretary for the Electricity Credit Union from 1973 and 2008. He was also the operations manager for the Far North Queensland Electricity Board for 29 years.
Mr Flanagan served as the managing director of his own electrical engineering and contracting company. He had also spent 17 years as a trade teacher at the Gold Coast Institute of TAFE.
