Ignition Wealth appoints investment committee chair

Automated advice firm Ignition Wealth has appointed Henry Capra as the chairman of its investment committee and member of its advisory board.

Commenting on his appointment, Mr Capra said he is “looking forward to being part of the next generation of financial advice”.

“With a long history in financial services, including roles in finance, technology and operations, I am looking forward to contributing to the growth of Ignition Wealth, using my experience in the industry,” he said.

Mr Capra has held previous positions with JP Morgan, BlackRock Investment Management Australia, BNP Paribas Asset Management, AMP Capital and Colonial First State.

He is also the non-executive director and member of the audit committee at Suncorp Portfolio Services; non-executive director and adviser at Millinium Capital Managers; and non-executive director and chair of the finance and audit committee for Autism Spectrum Australia.

Ignition Wealth chief executive Mark Fordree commented that the company’s strong board and management team is a “rare” find in the robo-advice sector.
