According to a statement from the firm, Mr Evans will focus on building on the absolute return and global investment capabilities of Tribeca.

"Our absolute return business is growing fast and attracting someone of Craig’s calibre is a big win for us," Mr Aylward said.

"Craig has a track record of providing a diverse range of global natural resource corporates with advisory and financing solutions, as well as committing significant capital to successful global long/short businesses across asset classes.

"Craig’s experience over the years has been around generating consistent absolute return performance in a risk-aware manner. As such, he has deep knowledge of global market dynamics and strong connectivity within the focus markets of the fund.

"While concentrating on Global Natural Resources as co-portfolio manager, Craig’s extensive executive experience at Macquarie and Bank of America helps to further build out Tribeca’s global investment capabilities," Mr Aylward said.
