The super fund has announced two senior appointments to join its executive leadership team.

Commencing in August, Therese Kenny joins ESSSuper as chief financial officer (CFO) and brings over two decades of experience to the role.

She makes the move from commercial real estate investment manager MaxCap.

Prior to this, she was CFO at LUCRF Super for almost five years before its merger with AustralianSuper in 2022.

Kenny also worked as a senior executive for five years at Hostplus across finance, risk, and investment operation roles.

Meanwhile, Stuart Wilkinson will join ESSSuper as its first chief member officer in October, as the fund seeks to strengthen its member experience.

He joins from Hostplus, where his responsibilities spanned strategy, operations, and digital transformation functions for almost nine years.

At ESSSuper, his remit will include overseeing the fund’s end-to-end member services, ensuring members continue to receive the highest standard of support and service.

“I’m so pleased to welcome both Therese and Stuart to our executive leadership team,” said ESSSuper CEO Robbie Campo.

“The skills and experience they bring will be integral to ESSSuper’s ongoing evolution, including further strengthening the member experience that we deliver.

“Our members perform essential roles in the Victorian community, and it’s important for us to support them throughout their careers and ensure they achieve the best possible retirement.”
