Equity Trustees has appointed a former KPMG executive to lead its newly-created business division, superannuation and portfolio services.

Mark Blair – who is currently the head of KPMG’s superannuation advisory business – will join Equity Trustees in the new year as the general manager of the new division.

Equity Trustees executive general manager of trustee and wealth services, Geoffrey Rimmer, said, “Mr Blair’s background will ensure effective alignment and a deepening of our good working relationship with KPMG as well as bringing a fresh new perspective to Equity Trustees' superannuation trustee services offering.”

Mr Blair’s appointment follows the integration of Equity Trustees’ superannuation trustee office into the newly-created division, superannuation and portfolio services.
