Patrick Farrell, who was formerly BT Financial Group’s chief investment officer and head of Advance Asset Management, has taken on the role.
Suncorp deputy chief financial officer Jeremy Robson, to whom Mr Farrell now reports, described Mr Farrell as “a great asset” and said he looked forward to seeing the contribution Mr Farrell would make to the company.
“Patrick brings a wealth of experience to Suncorp having worked in the financial services industry for nearly 30 years and managed insurance investment teams for more than 10 years,” Mr Robson said.
The investments and insurance industry forms a significant portion of Mr Farrell’s professional experience.
Mr Farrell worked with BT Financial Group for almost nine years before leaving in June to take on the new role with Suncorp.
