Mr Teng joins the company from Macquarie Investment Management, where he held the position of senior manager.
Over the course of his 16-year career in financial services, Mr Teng has worked with various companies such as Vanguard, Orchard Funds Management and Macquarie Professional Services.
“I am looking forward to this exciting opportunity to be a part of Pinnacle’s continued growth,” Mr Teng said.
“I am also relishing working with such an outstanding and dynamic group of investment managers.”
Pinnacle Investment Management director of distribution Andrew Chambers said Mr Teng’s experience was well-suited to the role.
“Eu-Jene joins at a time when market demand for our affiliates’ investment skills has never been higher,” he said.
“It’s critical that we attract talented professionals such as Eu-Jene so we can continue to deliver the service excellence that investors and our affiliates have come to expect from us.”
In his new role, Mr Teng will work alongside Pinnacle’s affiliated managers to “engage with the institutional marketplace”, the company said.
