Mr Polley joins the company from TCorp, where he held the title of senior manager, model portfolios and risk research, and managed more than $40 billion in defined benefit and insurance multi-asset portfolios.
During his 16 year career in the financial services industry, Mr Polley has also worked at AMP Capital as a portfolio manager, and at Mercer as an investment consultant.
BT Investment Management senior portfolio manager of diversified strategies Stuart Eliot said he was pleased with the new addition.

Mr Polley commenced in his role with the company on 6 February 2017.
