The partnership between Clime Investment Management and Futuro will see the opening of a Clime Private Wealth office in Brisbane, operating as a corporate authorised representative under Futuro's ASFL.
The joint venture between the boutique fund manager and Futuro has been "some time in the making", according to Futuro executive chairman Dennis Bashford.
The partnership will allow Futuro to deal with investors defined as 'sophisticated' under the Corporations Act, Mr Bashford said.
"There was also a sense of frustration in having to turn away high quality people, with a genuine need for advice, who did not meet the sophisticated investor criteria," he said.
"I look forward to working with Clime in the years to come because of their integrity, the respect in which they hold their clients, the cultural fit and the personalities involved."
