Submissions and nominations are now open for the highly anticipated Women in Finance Awards 2025.

The Women in Finance Awards has set the benchmark for excellence for almost a decade, recognising the outstanding contributions made by leading women in finance.

For the past nine years, the national awards program has celebrated the top-performing women influencing Australia’s financial industry – acknowledging entrepreneurs and CEOs through to accounting, banking, and finance professionals.

This year, the awards program is bigger and better than ever, uniting industry leaders in celebration of the high-achieving female professionals and female-owned businesses advancing the financial industry.

The awards will culminate in a cocktail ceremony on Friday, 14 November 2025, at Hyatt Regency Sydney. Click here to buy tickets.

There are a total of 29 submission-based categories on offer, including 24 individual and five group categories. The highest scoring individual winner will walk away with the coveted Excellence Award.

Submit an entry or nominate a worthy colleague and/or business by Thursday, 21 August 2025, for your chance to secure an award.

Women working across mortgage and commercial finance broking, financial advice, accounting, and bookkeeping are encouraged to submit an entry.

Individual categories include Director of the Year, Regional Professional of the Year, and Entrepreneur of the Year.

Auditors, SMSF Advisers, and fintech leaders are also urged to throw their hat in the ring.

The group categories to choose from include Women’s Community Program of the Year, Employer of the Year, Training and Development Program of the Year, and more.

Since its inception nine years ago many innovative professionals and businesses have capitalised on the Women in Finance Awards to distinguish themselves ahead of the competition.

For organisations, winning one of the coveted awards may support in attracting and retaining top talent, while the recognition could help cement an individual’s position as a leader in finance and underpin career advancement.

The finalists will be announced on Thursday, 18 September, so keep an eye out for your name on the list!

The Women in Finance Awards, in conjunction with event stakeholders and a panel of leading female finance professionals, has developed a robust awards methodology to form the backbone for assessing, analysing, and benchmarking Australia’s leading finance professionals.
