Nigel Crampton, Morningstar Australasia's head of sales, said the group is working with “an increasing number of dealer groups, brokers, institutions, and other organisations to provide integrated solutions in research, software, and data”.
Mr Callaghan will be responsible for the sale of Morningstar's solutions and building and managing relationships with clients in Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia and Tasmania.
He has previously held positions that include director of 2integrity, a business consulting to financial planning and accounting practices; strategy consulting roles with Foxrock Consulting and Zest Wealth Advisers; and he has worked in business development/wealth advice with Fordham Investment Management.
Mr Callaghan has also worked in business and management consulting with SMS Management and Technology and Ultradata Australia.
