Paul Souter will be responsible for developing the firm’s superannuation fund offering and implementing its growth strategy by expanding its range of products and services.
He will also aim to ensure this strategy aligns with the group’s clients and their members, working closely with superannuation fund clients, industry bodies and other key service providers in the superannuation sector, the group added.
Mr Souter has 12 years of experience in financial services marketing and product and strategy development, most recently as a product manager of investments at AustralianSuper. In this role he was responsible for the development and implementation of their direct to member offering, UBS said.
Mr Souter will be based in Melbourne and will report directly to Ian Dunbar.
