NGS Super has appointed Dascia Bennet to the newly created role of national manager for growth and distribution.

NGS Super’s chief executive Anthony Rodwell-Ball said Ms Bennet will perform a key role in leading the delivery of NGS’ member services and driving the generation of new employer business for the fund.

During her 15-year career, Ms Bennet has gained substantial business development and client relationship experience from senior positions held at ARF, ME Bank, REST and EISS.

“She has a strong commitment to members’ interests and developing valuable customer offerings, as well as a deep understanding of the industry fund sector,” he said.

This follows the appointment of Mary Jane Fallon as CIO last week. NGS Super feels the appointments of Ms Bennet and Ms Fallon reflect its predominantly female membership, with women making up 70 per cent of its 110,000 members.

“We have appointed Ms Bennet and Ms Fallon on the basis of their skills and expertise, as well as their fit with our values and culture,” said Mr Rodwell-Ball.

“It’s fantastic that we’ve been able to build the diversity of our senior leadership team through these appointments,” he added.
