Following the settlement of its 50 per cent stake in 8 Central Avenue, Australian Technology Park, Centuria Property Funds has appointed Grant McFarlane as senior facilities manager.

Reporting to the national facilities manager Jacques Duvenage, Mr McFarlane will be responsible for overseeing all facilities and operational matters at 8 Central Avenue, commencing on 1 February 2014.

Mr McFarlane joins Centuria Property Funds from Knight Frank as a facility manager, where he also managed 8 Central Avenue, including the establishment of onsite management offices and building policies and procedures.

He has over 10 years of experience in facilities and management services within the property industry.

Centuria Property Funds chief executive Jason Huljich said Mr McFarlane’s expertise in facilities management and his prior experience on 8 Central Avenue made him an obvious choice.

“The appointment of a dedicated facilities manager to manage 8 Central Avenue is aligned with Centuria’s commitment to ensuring the maintenance and improvements of assets within our portfolio,” said Mr Huljich.

“It also represents our continued strategic focus on acquiring and managing quality properties in proximity to and within CBD areas.”
