Mr Walton will manage member services, electronic trading systems and finance and administration functions across APAC.
He will be based in Hong Kong and report directly to Liquidnet head of the Asia-Pacific, Lee Porter.

He has also held roles with the ASX, specialising in developing new products, including the implementation of a venue for the matching of large-sized equity trades.
Mr Porter said Mr Walton will be a valuable addition to Liquidnet’s APAC business” as he will provide leadership at a time when the business is performing strongly in the region with record growth, led by “ongoing demand from members to access large blocks of natural liquidity”.
“Andrew’s appointment will allow Liquidnet in APAC to move to the next level as we pursue growth opportunities and build upon an already successful platform that serves the world’s leading asset management firms,” Mr Porter.
