Bentham IMF appoints managing director

Andrew Saker has been appointed managing director of litigation finance company Bentham IMF and will replace Hugh McLernon, who will retire in January 2015.

Mr McLernon will remain with the company on a full-time basis and will be involved in ongoing major case management and in a special projects capacity. 

Mr Saker has experience working on corporate assignments in Australia, the United States, Asia and South America in the areas of reconstruction and turnaround services, corporate advice and business planning, insolvency management, litigation management and fraud examination and forensic accounting. 

He currently works at Ferrier Hodgson, where he is receiver and manager, voluntary administrator or liquidator of over 115 corporate entities.
