Mr Lindsay is currently executive director and head of distribution and will begin working with Mr Roe to ensure a smooth transition into the new role.
Mr Lindsay has been a director of Aurora Funds since its inception in 2003 and has extensive experience in the financial services industry in Australia.
Mr Roe will continue in his role as a director of Aurora with the change giving him greater capacity to focus on investment management and in particular, the continued management of the Aurora Dividend Income Trust.
The Aurora Funds board thanked Mr Roe for his contribution as managing director during the past four years and congratulated Mr Lindsay on his appointment.
