AMP Capital adds to global listed real estate team

AMP Capital has made a number of appointments within its global listed real estate teams in London and Sydney.

Matthew Hodgkins, who is currently portfolio manager and analyst in AMP capital’s Chicago office, has accepted the role of head of European listed real estate and will relocate to London in the coming months to lead the team.

AMP Capital said Mr Hodgkins has extensive experience covering real estate securities in Europe, Asia and the US. 

Jamie O’Donnell joins AMP Capital as a portfolio manager and analyst from F&C Thames River where he was a European analyst responsible for covering all European real estate securities.

He has 10 years of industry experience including eight years as a specialist real estate securities analyst. 

Ryan Watson has also been appointed as a portfolio manager and analyst and will be transferring to the London office from Sydney. 

Mr Watson is a long-term member of the global listed real estate team and has been covering European securities on a secondary basis for two and half years. 

AMP Capital has also appointed James Holliday-Smith, who is currently on the AMP Capital fundamental equities team, as a portfolio manager and analyst.
