NGS Super board appoints employer director

Georgina Smith has been appointed to the NGS Super board as an employer director.

Ms Smith will be responsible for engaging and representing members from the South Australian education system.

She has 40 years of experience in education, previously working as assistant director, principal consultant and teacher for Catholic Education South Australia.

NGS Super chief executive Anthony Rodwell-Ball said Ms Smith’s “close working relationship with key stakeholder groups in the South Australian education industry will add a depth of expertise to the board and benefit all members”.

NGS Super said the appointment also evens gender representation on the NGS board, better reflecting the super fund’s 70 per cent female member base.
