In an announcement on the ASX, HFA Holdings said Mr Yanker has held a raft of positions within the investment industry, specifically in the hedge fund sector.
Mr Yanker is currently the senior partner of Alternative Asset Managers (AAM), which he co-founded in 2004 as a private investment firm.
Prior to his position at AAM, Mr Yanker was the chief executive of Lehman Brothers Alternative Investment Management and was responsible for the initial stages to the ultimate build-out of a global alternative investment platform.
