Big Sky Building Society said Mr Chan will be responsible for the operational management and improvement of Big Sky’s core systems, processing and back office functions.
“We have a clear strategy for growth and Matt’s expertise will be invaluable in ensuring that,” Big Sky Building Society chief executive Robert Bell said.
“Our aim is to be a genuine alternative to the big banks and to do so we must be able to offer quality banking products and support to Australians while at the same time maintaining our existing outstanding level of customer service,” he said.
Prior to joining Big Sky Building Society Mr Chan worked with ANZ where he held a number of positions across Melbourne and Hong Kong, including regional business manager for commercial banking in the Asia Pacific.
