Alex Campbell has been appointed as investment director for infrastructure debt and will be responsible for the sourcing, negotiation, preparation and review of infrastructure debt funding proposals, a statement issued by Standard Life said.
Marianne Froude will also join Standard Life as investment analyst for the infrastructure team.
Both Ms Froude and Mr Campbell will be based in St Mary Axe, London and will report to head of infrastructure debt, Jeremy Allcock.
Standard Life Investments head of credit Craig MacDonald said, “These appointments reinforce Standard Life Investments expertise in infrastructure financing.”
“Working within the fixed income team, the infrastructure debt team will provide senior debt to core infrastructure projects in the UK and other selective jurisdictions.
“Both Alex and Marianne bring a wealth of experience and expertise in this diverse asset class and will be integral members of the credit team as a whole,” he said.
