Koda Capital, the new wealth management firm launched by Steve Tucker and Paul Heath, has appointed a former CBA private wealth adviser as a partner.

Luther Poier will bring 20 years of executive and management experience to the company, according to a statement by Koda Capital.

"Mr Poier has joined the firm from CBA’s private wealth team, where he provided specialist investment advice to many of Australia’s wealthiest individuals and families," it said.

Former PricewaterhouseCoopers director Ben Andreou has also joined the company as a partner and director of specialist advice.

Mr Andreou was an adviser in PwC’s private client business, working with high net worth families.

Koda Capital was launched in late 2014, aiming to provide "independent" advice to high net worth clients.

Former Godfrey Pembroke adviser Sean Abbott also recently joined the firm as a partner.
