Former Contango Asset Management executive, Stephen Babidge, has been appointed in the role.
DMP executive chair and senior fund manager Harry Cator said: “We are delighted to have someone of the calibre of Stephen Babidge join DMP.”
Mr Babidge’s appointment follows the hiring of Allison Hill as chief executive and Warren Allen as chief operating officer.
DMP also hired Laurie Cox as non-executive director.

Before joining DMP, Ms Hill was a senior consultant at Frontier Advisors, and Mr Allen was lead of investment operations at Antares Capital Partners.
