Former ANZ analyst joins Perpetual Private

Perpetual Private, the wealth management arm of Perpetual, has hired two new investment research analysts.

David Blunt and Deana Leong have been appointed in the roles in order to strengthen the firm’s investment research team.

Mr Blunt joins Perpetual Private from ANZ Global Wealth, while Ms Leong transitioned from Perpetual Investments.

Perpetual Private head of research Kyle Lidbury said: “We need experienced research analysts to identify the best investment strategies, across the breadth of the wholesale and institutional opportunity set.”

Ms Leong and Mr Blunt will contribute to the construction of investment portfolios that align with Perpetual Private’s ‘Protect and Grow’ investment philosophy, a statement issued by the firm said.

“Hiring two highly rated analysts such as David and Deana will further strengthen our offering,” Mr Lidbury said.

“The team, in combination with our global asset consultant, Cambridge Associates, is able to leverage a significant amount of research capability for the benefit of clients.”
