Former ANZ global markets chief executive Richard Kimber has been appointed in the role.
OzForex chairman Peter Warne said: “Richard is an excellent fit for OzForex, with proven capability, ideal skills and experience.”
“He is the right person to take the company to its next stage in an industry which is hugely attractive with significant growth potential.”
Commenting on his appointment Mr Kimber said: “OzForex is very well positioned to become Australia’s best fintech export.”
“I believe it is one of the most exciting international businesses listed on the ASX and has tremendous potential to grow.”
According to an OzForex statement, Mr Kimber is an active investor in technology-led start-ups and specialises in creating new businesses through technology.
Mr Kimber will commence with OzForex immediately, taking over the position from Neil Helm.
