Ryan Durance has been named as director of distribution after leaving his position at Schroders.
Bennelong head of distribution, Andrew Aitken, said Mr Durance is a “great fit” for the team.
“We are committed to building a contemporary business development and client engagement model, ultimately being recognised for excellence in delivering best in class, high alpha investment managers and products,” Mr Aitken said.
Mr Durance’s key strength is in building relationships with institutional investors, a Bennelong-issued statement said.
Mr Durance has also held positions with Barclays Wealth, Cazenove Capital Management, Coutts & Co and Merchant Investors.
