Andrew Kwee will establish MLC’s office in New York and build a team to “capitalise” on opportunities present in the region, according to a statement.
MLC Private Equity chief executive Natalie Meyenn said: “Andrew brings a wide breadth of relationships, deep knowledge of the US market and proven experience in identifying and executing on attractive opportunities.”
“We look forward to having someone of Andrew’s calibre on our team to further enhance our ability to deliver more value to clients.”

MLC Private Equity announced its plans to open an office in New York on 11 June 2015.
“Given Andrew's experience in building high-performing private equity teams, we are extremely pleased to have him lead this initiative,” Ms Meyenn said.
