Former McDonald's Australia chief executive, Catriona Noble, has joined ANZ as managing director of retail distribution Australia.
ANZ Australia chief executive Mark Whelan said: “Catriona’s energy, her people skills and retail experience will bring a strong focus to improving the way we serve our customers across our retail network."
“I’m confident her experience leading large teams in Australia and in Asia will support the continued outperformance of our retail business.”
Ms Noble will be responsible for ANZ’s retail distribution strategy in addition to the institution’s branches and mobile sales force.
According to an ANZ-issued statement, she will also play a leadership role in attracting new customers, growing the bank’s relationship with existing customers and improving customer satisfaction.
Ms Noble will commence in the role on 1 September 2015.
