Nicolette Rubinsztein will step down from her role on 30 November, and will commence with UniSuper on 1 December 2015.
Commenting on her appointment, Ms Rubinsztein said: “UniSuper has an enviable reputation within the industry not only as a superannuation fund, but for its in-house funds management, administration and financial advice services.”
UniSuper chairman Chris Cuffe said: “Nicolette’s track record of successful product innovation and strategy development, along with her longstanding contribution to policy advocacy and the evolution of the industry are well known.
“This positions her to immediately make a powerful contribution to UniSuper as a director of its board.”
Mr Cuffe added that the addition of Ms Rubinsztein maintains the fund’s commitment to appointing highly skilled independent directors.
“UniSuper is fortunate to attract directors that bring the depth and breadth of experience that [Ms Rubinsztein] does,” he said.
Ms Rubinsztein has also held positions with BT Funds Management. She has also been the director of the Association of Superannuation Funds Australia board for the past eight years.
