Alison Harrop will replace Craig Mitchell as chief financial officer in order for Mr Mitchell to expand his duties as chief operating officer.
Dexus chief executive Darren Steinberg said: “Alison’s appointment reflects our commitment to succession planning.”
“Craig’s role as chief operating officer has expanded in line with the significant growth of our third-party funds business as well as our increased focus on driving portfolio performance.”

Ms Harrop has held previous positions at Australia Post and Westpac, where she served as general manager of group finance. She has also held senior positions with Macquarie, Credit Suisse and Deutsche Bank.
Ms Harrop joined the company in January 2015 as a deputy chief financial officer.
