Renae Ridley has been appointed as the firm’s head of corporate access.
Ms Ridley, who joins the firm from CIMB Securities, will be responsible for ensuring Shaw and Partners’ research analysts have open access to the companies they are researching.
In addition to Ms Ridley, former Goldman Sachs executive Peter Zuk will join Shaw and Partners as its REIT analyst.
Shaw and Partners head of equities Mike Ryan said: “Peter and Renae’s appointments will expand our institutional business, develop our facilitation services as well as further develop our highly recognised research capabilities and our corporate finance offerings to meet the growing and changing needs of our clients.”
Mr Ryan also said the firm is looking at further appointments within the next few months.
“We have made some changes during the past few months and our main focus is meeting the demands and expectations of our clients,” he said.
