Nicole Bradford will join Cbus as an investment manager of ESG on Monday 16 November.
Ms Bradford’s appointment follows the departure of Louise Davidson, who left the firm to join the Australian Council of Superannuation Investors as its chief executive.
Cbus executive manager of investment strategy Kristian Fok said: “We are delighted to have someone of Nicole’s calibre joining the Cbus investment team.
“Nicole’s international and direct ESG investing experience will be a great asset for Cbus as we ramp up our own company research and direct engagement program.”
Commenting on her appointment, Ms Bradford said: “I believe the finance industry can, and should, play a key role with integrating sustainability into business practices throughout the economy.
“I’m looking forward to working for a dynamic and innovative fund such as Cbus to help promote good governance and sustainability across a large portfolio,” she said.
Ms Bradford is a contributor to the World Resources Institute Portfolio Carbon Initiative, a scheme leader for the International Society of Sustainable Professionals and a mentor for Executive Women Australia.
Ms Bradford previously served as the environmental and social risk leader of GE Capital, Asia Pacific.
