Nicholas Oslear will join Bell Direct as a national account manager of the firm’s share trading platform Desktop Broker.
Mr Oslear will be responsible for sourcing, developing and managing key relationships in the intermediary market throughout Australia, a statement by Bell Direct said.
Bell Direct chief executive Arnie Selvarajah said: “Mr Oslear brings a strong focus on client service and creating innovative solutions for advisers and this is clearly aligned with the values of Desktop Broker.”
Desktop Broker allows advisers to buy and sell shares at low cost for clients, utilising market news and research insights to enhance trading performance, the statement said.
Prior to his recent appointment, Mr Oslear was a business development manager at Commsec Adviser Services.
