Lou Capparelli, who has over 20 years experience in equities, will join UniSuper as a senior analyst.
In addition to Mr Capparelli, Jarrod McDonald has been named as a senior analyst while Rob Hogg joins as head of global strategies and quant method.
Mr McDonald will be responsible for covering telecommunications, IT and consumer discretionary, a statement issued by the fund said.
Mr Hogg replaces David Schneider, who will continue to work at UniSuper as a consultant.
UniSuper chief investment officer John Pearce said: “Our ongoing success is due in large to the achievements of our in-house investment team, who are each tasked with managing our members’ money wisely.
“We wouldn’t be able to continually achieve positive long-term outcomes for our members if we didn’t have a team of great people making smart decisions.”
